Hewitt is founder and President of The Dalley Hewitt Company, a talent acquisition and management firm that enables domestic and international companies to find, retain and develop human capital for higher return on staff investment. Ms. Hewitt is a professional consultant, executive recruiter and workplace authority with more than 28 years in executive search and human resources consulting. She has a successful track record consulting with senior management teams in academia, financial services, pharmaceuticals, technology, energy, telecommunications, manufacturing, commercial real estate, transportation, media and consumer goods. Prior to forming The Dalley Hewitt Company, she held management positions with Korn/Ferry International and Beech and Partners Limited, a leading Canadian executive search firm based in Toronto where she was a founding member. She began her career at Stevenson & Kellogg, Limited in Canada. As a workplace authority, Ms. Hewitt is skilled at assessing individuals to understand their natural abilities and developing tailored Career Management Programs. She is certified to offer the Highlands Ability Battery as a tool in this process. In addition to assessing individuals, Ms. Hewitt provides the Highlands Ability Battery to groups as a cost-effective, efficient way to enhance team performance. Ms. Hewitt also facilitates managers' acclimation into new assignments, helping them to quickly realize peak potential and reducing attrition. She is experienced at assessing overall organizational structure and redefining roles, responsibilities and job functions for organizational growth and success. Ms. Hewitt has a special interest in helping women in higher education advance their careers and is a featured speaker at the 2004 Annual Conference of the Georgia Association for Women in Higher Education. She is also a featured speaker at other higher education group meetings in 2004. Ms. Hewitt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at York University in Toronto, Canada and a Master of Business degree at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She was an adjunct professor for the Department of Management, College of Business Administration at Georgia State University. Ms. Hewitt is past President of Georgia Executive Women's Network and past President of the Board of Directors of the Canadian American Society of the Southeastern United States. Her community service includes a major fund raising effort for the Georgia-Pacific Atlanta Golf Classic for Egleston Children's Hospital at Emory University. Ms. Hewitt is affiliated with The International Alliance of Women, Human Resources Management Association, Employment Management Association, International Association of Corporate and Professional Recruiters, Inc., Georgia Executive Women’s Network and Technology Association of Georgia. Mr. Boel has managed a variety of search assignments in industries such as information technology, manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, medical products, property management and international development. With his ability to speak five languages, Mr. Boel is responsible for global client needs involving projects worldwide. Mr. Boel is excellent at identifying qualified candidates who fit the client's corporate culture. He is able to anticipate client needs and provides quality service to clients. Mr. Boel revived and now manages The Belgian American Chamber of Commerce – Southern Chapter as the Executive Director. The Chamber provides assistance to American companies that want to enter the Belgian market and to Belgian companies that are looking for contacts in the Southeast. Under his direction, the Chamber has attracted a substantial number of new members and established numerous contacts with local U.S. multinationals who have relocated their European headquarters to Brussels. Mr. Boel received his law degree from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Brussels, Belgium. He obtained an LL.M. degree from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and another LL.M. degree from the University of Georgia. Mr. Boel is past President of the Cultural Committee of Rotaract Club Tienen. In Atlanta, he is an active member of The Young Careers, High Museum of Arts. He was a dedicated host for ACOG during the 1996 Olympic Summer Games and was appointed as Special Envoy to assist the Belgian sports delegation during the 1996 Paralympic Games. Mr. Boel is fluent in Dutch, English and French. He speaks German and Italian on a conversational level. Contact Werner Boel at werner@dalleyhewitt.com Deborah ShawDebbie Shaw joined The Dalley Hewitt Company in the fall of 1999 and provides Internet research and recruiting services for positions in various industries including capital equipment, medical devices, commercial real estate and security systems. Ms. Shaw has over 11 years of professional recruiting experience. Prior to joining The Dalley Hewitt Company, she was corporate employment manager at Holiday Inn Worldwide, a division of Bass PLC. Ms. Shaw started her corporate recruiting career at Georgia-Pacific Corporation after being a recruiter for Romac and Associates. At Romac, she worked for clients that ranged from small businesses to Fortune 50 companies in financial services, insurance, real estate development, health care, retail and manufacturing. Ms. Shaw has also worked in public accounting for seven years with such firms as Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse. Ms. Shaw earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Missouri. She is responsible for developing the company's candidate development and tracking systems. She also provides guidance and technical support to research projects involving the Internet and other database resources. Ms. Bigda has been instrumental in the organization of large recruiting projects for multiple positions within a single corporate client. Clients regard candidate information presented by Ms. Bigda as a valuable tool in understanding which individuals might best fit their needs. Ms. Bigda is recognized for her ability to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all operations, systems and candidate development in the search process.
